“It is a great experience in terms of working with a professional philosopher to do my own investigation of a classical research question. My advisor is extremely helpful for making sure that I stay on the right track when make progress for research. I obtained better sense of how I could apply knowledge of philosophy to my life. The way I organize my research also helps to organize my other goals in life. As for academics, my reading and writing skills both improved a lot during the summer because of the intensive but interesting research experiences.”

More personally, I loved getting more comfortable talking with a lot of people, and getting practice with planning events, scheduling meetings, and getting the day to day office life.”
