Aisin Technical Center of America

Materials Engineering Intern

May - August 2019 • Northville, MI

What I liked

I liked the projects I was assigned to work on because they encompassed different agendas, and I was able to learn different things with each task the project had. For example, one project I learned how to test products and inform plants on how to improve part performance and quality. I really liked the work environment as well from the labs to the desk work, the company's goals and mission statement, and the culture of Aisin.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more interaction with other groups to learn more about their day to day tasks, and how their group contributes to the other groups and the processes.

Advice

Aisin made me become a diligent, detail-oriented worker where I never gave up. I would recommended anyone working here to find a mentor because my manager become mine, he taught me to work hard to learn the most and to get the most experience out of a internship or co-op.
