The Air Force Research Laboratory is a global technical enterprise, home to some of the world's leading scientists and engineers in aerospace and related research. Our mission is leading the discovery, development, and integration of technologies across air, space, and cyberspace. The various technical competencies across the AFRL Technology Directorates represent a broad spectrum of research requiring scientist and engineers with the drive and talent to solve the challenging problems we face as the world's leading air and space force. AFRL has nine technology directorates: 711th Human Performance Wing, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Directed Energy, Information, Aerospace Systems, Space Vehicles, Munitions, Materials and Manufacturing, and Sensors.
