We were given a lot of professional development and curriculum prep time as part of our summer schedule, and I learned so much about teaching from the other staff. The kids were so fun to be around and I loved getting to engage with them over curriculum that felt relevant to their lives.”

“I enjoyed the structure of the program. It allowed the middle school students to get some much needed exposure to some of the concepts that they will likely face in the upcoming school year. Also was very laid back as an internship. The mission of the program spoke to me personally, so it was a lot easier for me to work through the more difficult times, which come with any position in which you work with children. The leadership there was amazing. They had interns paired up with actual teachers so that we could get mentorship from a person who actually works in the field and has credentials. overall, a great learning environment. ”
