What I liked

I liked how independent the work was. I was able to see 16 different programs that were focused on different things. The teens were so involved and inclusive to what the program was about and it was inspirational.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have done more programs.

Advice

My one piece of advice is when you are looking at the requirements, even if it may seem out of your league still apply. This external assessor job said it was looking for people who had degrees already and I was just finishing my junior year of college during my initial interview. My cover letter was strong enough to receive any interview and my impression at the interview was good enough to get the job. Taking that leap of faith resulted in an amazing summer job and an eye opening experience.
