I enjoyed attending Labor Management Meetings and Negotiations. I saw first hand the employer/employee interactions.
What I wish was different
I wish I had a more interactive role on a day to day basis with more responsibilities.
Advice
If you plan on working in a unionized company or for the State, this is a perfect opportunity to learn how contracts are negotiated and how grievances are handled.
