Parking Attendant

What I liked

Simple and straightforward job responsibilities. Laid back environment and coworkers are generally positive. Ability to pick up more hours as events occur.

What I wish was different

Cooler conditions. I was outdoors a lot and with it being summer, the weather was hot most of the time. That was my only complaint but that was beyond my control. All I could do was properly prepare for it by bringing water, sunscreen, etc.

Advice

It's a very easy job that anyone can do. My only advice safety-wise is to watch your back at all times especially if you're assigned as a cashier. Lock yourself in the booth for greater protection. Pack snacks just in case you suddenly get hungry between breaks.
