Direct line of communication with Account Managers really helped make a good program GREAT!

More involvement with more physical giveaways or opportunities. More chances at optional program activities.
Advice
Utilize your Account Manger like they are your best friend! They can help you build your network for your own events as well as help plan collaborative events with others too!

Campus Manager

What I liked
I liked that this was a part-time job and gave me a lot of corporate experience. There was a lot expected of me but they understood that I am a student. I was also able to use my university connections to help me with the job requirements. Not only that, but they made it really easy to reach out to students at the beginning of the semester. All the products were shipped directly to my apartment for convenience as well.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had more time to plan events on campus for interaction goals. I was only given two weeks at a time and didn't have the goal numbers with me to know how many people I should plan for.
Advice
Be prepared for big packages and get to know the other campus manager to plan events together.

What I liked
I liked the way the company really values hard work and really wants you to succeed. This company, although it advertised for HBO doesn’t believe that HBO is the end all be all.
What I wish was different
I wish they would be more organized with shipments and aiding us with the mini events that we are required to throw.
Advice
Plan ahead of schedule. Know what you have to get done and how you’re gonna get it done, and use your campus partner. Collaboration is key!

I loved the job itself & the duties that were required were not hard to balance with schoolwork. I loved the communication aspect as well. It was very easy to speak with the boss and other workers.

I wish that it was easier to set up events within the school.

As a student ambassador, I am learning to work in the field of marketing. I am increasing my networking and learning how to promote using social media and experimental activations.
What I wish was different
I wish I had an internship opportunity before this position because I would have more experience and knownledge finding on-campus events.
Advice
This has been one of the greatest opportunities I have been offered. Working as an Amazon Prime Student Ambassador, I have learned so much about the marketing field and met many people. Through this experience I would advise others to not be afraid to engage with students around campus and reach out to any types of organizations. There are always events going on around campus that will help with networking and increase brand awareness.
