I had a lot of opportunities for professional development in an area that I love. I even go a job offer and am working there now, paid, and no longer as an intern.
What I wish was different
I wish it were longer, but I guess I got that after being offered a paid position.
Advice
The only reason I got the internship was because I reached out to them asking to see their Occupational Therapy NICU lab. My enthusiasm is what got me the position- there was no application at the time.
