I loved getting hands on experience within the journalism. Sometimes I could work at home or at local coffee shops, so the internship was super flexible. Also, I made a lot of valuable connections as well.
What I wish was different
Honestly, I wish I had been there longer! I feel like I could definitely learn a lot more if I had stayed at the company for a while longer.
Advice
It’s very important to put yourself out and grasp opportunities whenever you get the chance. Sometimes being bold can be intimidating, but it pays off to be proactive in the things you’re passionate about.
