Scotts Miracle-Gro Company

About Scotts Miracle-Gro Company

Few companies have roots as deep as ours. We’ve grown from a family general store to North America’s leader in lawn and garden as well as indoor and hydroponic growing products. We’re headquartered in Marysville, Ohio, only five miles from where our company was founded by a Civil War veteran in 1868.

As one of America’s most trusted companies—grounded for generations in a sense of family—we embrace our responsibility to create a better life for our associates and our consumers. We recognize our role in protecting the planet. And we see the importance in investing in tomorrow’s leaders. We do these things because, at our core, we believe good can grow anywhere.

“I absolutely loved my time at the Scotts Miracle-Gro company. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help, no matter what team or department you were in. I also loved how cross-functional the company culture was. In every meeting or project that I was working on, there was a least 2 or more members from different departments there working on the project as well. My boss gave me a lot of different opportunities to share my input, participate in projects that I was interested in learning about, and gave me real tasks and projects that affected daily decisions and the overall business. In addition, a lot of my projects and work got brought up to senior leadership to help showcase my skills. My boss not only acted as my manager, giving me tasks and projects, but also as a mentor to help me build my professionalism and explore different career paths. ”
