Northwest Connections

About Northwest Connections

Emergency Services (Crisis Services) is a collaborative effort between Northwest Connections (NWC) crisis workers, consumers, community members, law enforcement, county personnel, contracted agencies, and community providers to coordinate an immediate response to assist a person experiencing a crisis.

NWC recognizes the importance of empowerment and person-centered interventions. The principles of respect, support, and least restrictive treatment guide our interventions. NWC draws on the strengths and coping a person, and work to develop healthy coping in conjunction with the development of natural support systems. Crisis is an opportunity to effect change in an individual’s natural environment.

“I really enjoyed and appreciated learning all of the County Directives for Emergency Mental Health Services for the counties that Northwest Connections contracts with. I also built a lot of strong relationships with my peers and felt supported by them and by my Clinical Supervisor.”
