I liked that it was a formal summer program with weekly learning modules and speaker series. They pair you up with a recent graduate as a mentor and you also complete and individual and group project over the course of the internship.

What I liked
I had lots of opportunities to shadow our brokers to learn about client interaction. I worked on a project in the marketing department which aided my Excel and communication skills.
What I wish was different
I wish it would have been longer.
Advice
It is what you make it. There is tons of opportunity in the industry and the consultants have tons of experience and wisdom.
