It would be great if we could collaborate more in person, but other than that I love everything.

Working with supportive, passionate, and highly-driven teammates which allowed me to further develop my interpersonal, analytical, and organization skills. Everyday is different and there’s always something new to learn!

Advice

Be open-minded; it's a startup environment so be ready for change at any given time! But everyone is always willing to lend a hand if you're ever stuck with a project/task.

What I liked

I really liked how welcoming and accommodating everyone is at JBIER. Right from the first interview, I felt like this was going to be a very flexible, yet focused and structured company. The interview process was very smooth, organized, and professional. This is a company where I can focus my skills on several kinds of projects that will help further improve my skills later in the future. I am so glad that I get to work at a company where I can bring forth several of digital marketing skills of mine alongside very hard-working and passionate people.

What I liked

The interview process was very laidback, I first interviewed with a team member who was very professional and kind. I then was interviewed by Jessica, the founder, the same day, and as soon as I met her any anxiety I had was eased because of her bright and welcoming energy. I instantly felt like I belonged.

What I wish was different

I am still very new to the team so I do not have any comments about this at the moment

Advice

As I have said before, I am still very new but if I were to give any advice to new team members it would be to be engaged with the team and don't hesitate to ask questions, they are there to help us through this process in any way that they can.

What I liked

The interview process was amazing. I immediately felt like I could be myself and I knew that I would be able to learn a lot with this position. I have not been here long, but I already love the tea environment and have learned so much. I look forward to continuing and improving my skills.

I am not sure that I would change anything! I have nothing bad to say about the company :)

I love the culture working at JBIER, everyone on staff is committed to putting in their best efforts to benefit the company. I've been impressed by the skillset of everyone I've worked with. All staff work together to make sure everything is done properly.

What I liked

Jess created an environment that made all employees feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas. In this position I am able to help out on different projects that I am interested in. I feel as though this increased the quality of the work I submit because I am so passionate about each task.

The JBIER interview experience was unlike any interview I have had prior. Kate and Jessica were super positive and seemed genuinely interested in having a conversation about what you wanted to accomplish while interning at JBIER.

The interview process made me feel very comfortable, and was not as stressful as I thought it would be. Jess makes everyone feel welcomed to the work environment, and allows us to jump on different tasks if we want to work in another field!

Don't be afraid to ask questions, and do not feel overwhelmed by the amount of work there may be. Everyone in the group was so helpful and allowed me to do my work easily with little doubt.

The founder of JBIER, Jess Bierman, is one of the most caring and driven people that I have ever met. She has created a job environment that makes you want to get up and work everyday. Everyone at JBIER is so passionate about what they do and are always there to help each other. It truly is a family.

What I wish was different

One thing that I wish had been different is the fact that this internship is fully remote and that we can not meet in person.

What I liked

JBIER has such an amazing and dedicated team. We are constantly working on new projects, coming up with new marketing and website ideas, and learning about the different aspects of fashion eCommerce. Each and every team member brings something different to the table, making the experience very educational and insightful. Not to mention, the Founder/CEO, Jessica Bierman, is such an amazing mentor!

What I wish was different

I wish the internship was in person, so I could meet everyone!

Always be open to working on new projects, because you might fall in love with something that you've never done before.

I love the fact that I get to try new things instead of having to do one specific thing. Jess will work with you on what you want to do and is willing to help with whatever you need. The team is amazing as well, and I love that the team all collaborates with each other!

Always speak up about something you want to do! Jess will work with you and put you on something, there are so many different things to try and learn; you'll for sure find something that works for you here!

This position has been a great way to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about the fashion industry. I have loved getting to know so many different interns from a variety of backgrounds. What I liked

JBIER is a great company with such an amazing environment. The founder and fellow interns are all so welcoming and make sure to make you feel comfortable and motivated to work. Through JBIER I am able to pursue a position in a field I love and also learn new things along the way. JBIER is a place where all ideas and creative perspectives are welcome and it honestly makes so much more fun to finish our tasks and work. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
