I enjoyed the real work experience I gained throughout my internship. The company culture and environment are very welcoming and lots of fun events and catered lunches add to the experience of the internship. Working on complex returns can be super interesting and allows for lots of really great learning opportunities.
What I wish was different
I would have enjoyed being able to spend a longer period of time at the internship. I believe that adding a couple more weeks to the length of the internship would have been even more beneficial to my experience and my learning.
Advice
A piece of advice I would share is to be open to making mistakes and learning from them. The learning process includes making mistakes and receiving feedback that allows you to correct and avoid the same mistake in the future.

What I liked
Culture of company was fantastic!
I could tell that they had a really strong community and that everyone was happy with their work environment.
What I wish was different
Being that it was slow season, unfortunately, there wasn’t much client work for me to do. However, this allowed me to explore other areas where I become involved with (I.e. article writing)
Advice
Take initiative and ask for work.
This is not only impressive to your supervisors but it enables you to gain experience as well.
