Working as the project manager at SWATT was AWESOME! I was able to work on multiple and diverse projects each day. I felt challenged and supported. I was able to progress in responsibilities quickly. Love my team.

Advice
Stay connected with the operations manager, Led Harper. He is the go to. He will help get a lot of the info, training, etc. Lined up to help you add value effectively to the school.

I liked learning about film making while working. It was really fun to learn more about different cameras and also the adobe softwares.

I wish there was more videos to make during the summer. There wasnt a lot of workers here too.

The job offers so many opportunities to learn new skills and apply them directly. We also have the opportunity to collaborate with others who have great experience and apply it into our work process. It is amazing to be able to see the results of what you are working on instantly.

It would be nice to have more contact with the departments that we work closely with. Because of our office location it can be difficult to collaborate as often as we would like to.

Work more on sales. But in my work right now, we still ask people to pay their outstanding balance which is similar to doing sales.
Advice
Accounting is one of my weakness. It is really difficult for me personal when I started working in my job right now. But because the management is great and they trusted me that I would be able to learn my assignment quickly, I was able to fulfill my responsibilities and was trusted to become accounts receivable supervisor. Never underestimate your potential.

What I liked
I loved working with the students. We spent time together in the classroom, but we also traveled around O'ahu, and saw the best that Hawaii had to offer. I enjoyed our field trips together, and seeing them practice the English that they learned. The best experience was our closing ceremony with the student's host families, and hearing about their experience in their own words.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had put in more time for preparation.
Advice
I recommend that everyone should have try teaching, even if they are not studying education. I'm studying accounting, but the skills I developed are comprehensive.
