What I liked

I loved the people. Everyone I worked for what so kind, awesome and understanding. Best work environment I have ever had. I also like being able to work out doors. A lot of long days out on jobs sites and I just loved it.

What I wish was different

Honestly nothing, these guys are awesome.

Advice

Come ready to work. For a lot of the work you do its almost as if you are your own boss. So hold yourself accountable and put in the work.

What I liked

American Engineering Testing has a great staff that is willing to help you as you learn the ropes. There is a broad variety of tasks you can to learn about. You are always on your toes staying busy. They give you some freedom to choose what you want to do which is super nice.

What I wish was different

I do not wish things had been different. I had a great experience working there.

Advice

Sometimes you will be driving a lot. This is a good time to listen to a podcast.

It was a great atmosphere with amazing people that really cared about you and your experience. Super nice and very accepting as well as very good teaching experience.

Not much.

It was an amazing experience and I would try to work there if you are into engineering or construction.

I liked that it was something new I got to try. Everyone in the office is very kind and answered questions are are patient when training interns.

I liked the freedom on the job, they allow you to grow into the position and take on responsibilities individually.

What I wish was different

I have no regrets.

Advice

It requires an open mind and the ability to teach yourself by going to sites and communicating with contractors to complete the task. It is a good way to learn and grow.
